About Me

As a Business Development Assistant my main role is to assist IKON Training in acquiring new clients and maintaining existing client relationships. Having both studied and gained experience in Media, Advertising, Marketing and communications this means I am able to involve myself with marketing planning and ensuring all plans are actioned. 

The nature of the role is varied, this means that my daily duties change depending on the task at hand. Below is a summary of duties that I am entrusted with
- Managing and running company social media and advising colleagues on company’s social media branding policies.
- Writing, designing and sending E-shot Newsletters
- Planning, creating and publishing of IKON Quarterly, a newsletter for training professionals in the NHS
- Communicating with the Training manager to generate campaigns for new courses. The involves, researching audience profile, planning the marketing campaign and designing campaign materials
- Creation of marketing materials such as prospectuses, leaflets, flyers, proposals, training reports and more

- Generate new sales leads via phone and email
- Maintain existing clients
- Set up and conduct meetings with clients
- Generate proposals for clients to ensure they are happy with both service and product
- Contacting potential new clients and introduce the company
